Crafting
Level the Enchanter profession and craft the gems that enchant your equipment.
Beta
Crafting is how enchantment gems are made. You pick a recipe, hand over the materials and receive a gem, while your profession gains experience.
The Enchanter profession
Enchanter is the first crafting profession. It works like a skill: it starts at level 10, goes up to level 200, and each level needs more experience than the one before.
Every successful craft gives profession experience, and better results give more.
How it works
- Choose the equipment slot. Gems are made for one slot: helmet, armor, legs, boots, weapon or off-hand.
- Choose the recipe. Each recipe is an enchantment attribute, and some have variants (Elemental Conversion can be Fire, Ice, Energy or Earth).
- Craft. The materials are consumed and you receive the gem of that slot.
Quality
Each craft rolls one of four qualities, which sets how strong the gem is:
| Quality | Profession experience |
|---|---|
| Normal | 100 |
| Excellent | 250 |
| Legendary | 500 |
| Epic | 1000 |
The higher your Enchanter level, the better your chance at the higher qualities.
